Apple renews Foundation for Season 2, Season 1 finale airs on November 19

According to Deadline, Apple TV+ will renew the sci-fi drama "Foundation" for a second season, and the latest season will officially begin production before the fourth episode is released tomorrow. The head of Apple TV+ said that the company did not wait until the first season was finished before renewing "Foundation" for a second season mainly because they were satisfied with the goals that the producers had worked hard to achieve.

David Goyer, the screenwriter and director of the series, said: "I have dreamed of adapting Asimov's series since I was a child" and he also promised the audience that the series will only be more interesting. Robin, who serves as the producer of the film and is the daughter of the original author Isaac Asimov, said that the series exceeded her expectations. Previously, she thought that the series would not be too faithful to the original work.

Currently, the release date of the second season is unknown, but the last episode of the first season will meet the audience on November 19th.
