Super Mario movie voice actor confirmed

Nintendo and Illumination Pictures have released very little information about the Super Mario movie, not to mention the specific release date, even the characters have not been announced. However, today (August 10), the well-known comedian Sebastian Manisco revealed in a show that he will voice a character in the film.

On a talk show called "Bertcast", Sebastian Manisco confirmed to the audience that he plays a boss character named "Spike" in "Super Mario" movie.

Even veteran players of the Mario series may not know much about the characters other than the two plumber brothers and the princess. In fact, this character named "Spike" first appeared in the FC's "Super Mario Bros. 3". It attacks players by throwing weapons such as iron balls with spikes. According to the information on the Villain Wiki, "Spike is the angry foreman of the construction site where Mario and Luigi work. However, instead of helping them, Spike constantly tries to stop the brothers from working, perhaps to make money for himself."

The "Super Mario" movie, produced by Illumination Productions, which produced films such as "Despicable Me" and "Minions", is expected to be released in 2022.
