Pixar's new animated film "Hoppers" will be released in summer 2026

According to Deadline , Pixar released a trailer for a new animated film titled Hoppers during the current 2024 Disney conference D23 Expo.

The internal-only trailer shows two female scientists telling a child that they want to put his brain into a beaver for some reason. The beaver is then shown running around.

The film is directed by Daniel Chong, the creator of We Bare Bears, and is expected to be released in the summer of 2026. The cast includes Bobby Moynihan (Inside Out 2), Piper Curda, and Jon Hamm. Among them, Jon Hamm will play a "villain" mayor of a small town whose goal is to eliminate beavers.
