The domestic release date of the historical suspense masterpiece "Witness for the Prosecution" is yet to be determined

Today (August 8), the 1957 classic suspense crime film "Witness for the Prosecution" was confirmed to be introduced to mainland China and will be released in theaters this year in a 4K restored version, with the release date to be determined.

The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by the queen of mystery Agatha Christie. It revolves around the mysterious death of a wealthy woman. Behind the unexpected truth and suspenseful plot lies the dark side of human nature. Director Billy Wilder has won many heavyweight awards such as the Oscars and Golden Globes, and is known as the "pioneer of reversal."
