The author of "Assassination Classroom" starts serializing new manga based on real historical events

Today, January 18, the latest issue of "Weekly Shonen Jump" was released, and the new manga "Young Master! Escape" from the original author of the classic manga "Assassination Classroom" Matsui Yusei began serialization. It is reported that this work will be adapted from real historical events, so stay tuned.

· Matsui Yusei, born on January 31, 1981 in Iruma, Saitama Prefecture, is a Japanese manga artist. His representative works include "Assassination Classroom" and "Magic Detective Brain Gnaw Nero". His work "Assassination Classroom" won the 2014 This Comic is Really Awesome Best Male Manga Award. Matsui Yusei began serializing "Magic Detective Brain Gnaw Nero" in "Weekly Shonen Jump" magazine in 2005; and began serializing "Assassination Classroom" in "Weekly Shonen Jump" magazine in 2012.

·It has been 5 years since Matsui Yusei returned to JUMP after the completion of "Assassination Classroom" in 2016. The detailed information of this new work "Wakako: The Escape Master" has not been made public yet. The author only said that this work will be adapted from real historical events, so stay tuned.
