Deadpool vs. Wolverine Final Trailer: Wolverine's daughter Laura returns

With just one week left until the release of Deadpool vs. Wolverine, Marvel Studios couldn't help but release one of the biggest cameos in the film: Dafne Keen returns as Wolverine's cloned daughter Laura/X-23. Keen first played the character in 2017's Logan, which was supposed to be Hugh Jackman's last outing as Wolverine, but he agreed to return for this film. Now, Keen has revealed that she was able to keep her return a secret because she borrowed a trick from Andrew Garfield's lie in Spider-Man: No Homecoming.

Keane said in an interview: "All the inspiration comes from Andrew Garfield, he is a master in this area." Although Jackman's Wolverine is not the variant that died in "Logan", Keane revealed that she will play the role of Laura again, but now she has grown into a young person.

Keane added: "It's been great to come back and re-explore Laura as an adult. Now I understand the anger of my parents more and bring that into the character. I feel like the Laura in Logan was more about the unexpected gain of a father and then the loss of him. This time we're going to see her really appreciate - and with a kind of wisdom - how much her father meant to her."

But just because Laura has gotten older doesn't mean she's stopped fighting. According to Keane, Laura is still as agile and feral as ever.

Keane noted: "I didn't really have to look for the character a lot, she was always there in my mind. The first thing I did on Deadpool vs. Wolverine was do stunt training before we shot anything. I put on the costume and I thought, 'Oh! She's back!'"

Deadpool vs. Wolverine is set to hit theaters on July 26.
