The full name of "Shazam 2" is "Shazam: Wrath of the Gods"

According to IGN, at DC Fandom today (August 23), the three leading actors of "Shazam!" Zachary Levi, Jack Dylan Grazer and Asher Angel talked about the sequel "Shazam 2". Although they said they couldn't reveal too much about the sequel, they announced that the subtitle of the sequel is "Fury of Gods".

"Shazam 2" will be named "Shazam: Wrath of the Gods". IGN said that perhaps the subtitle means that the audience can see the story of young "Shazam" Billy Batson and the six gods who gave him power in "Shazam: Wrath of the Gods".

Previously, "Shazam 2" was postponed from the original April 1, 2022 to November 4, 2022. The first film tells the story of a 13-year-old boy, Billy, who would be struck by a magic lightning every time he shouted out Shazam's name, and was given the powers of six gods and transformed into an adult superhero Shazam.
