iQiyi reveals new project "Legend of the Demon Cat" will be filmed as a TV series and will be broadcast in 2023

Yesterday, iQiyi's Yuexiang Conference revealed several important projects, including the TV series "Legend of the Demon Cat" and the urban female-themed drama "North Drift South" directed by Feng Xiaogang.

It is reported that the drama version of "Legend of the Demon Cat" is also adapted from the original novel "Monk Kukai: The Ghost Banquet of the Tang Dynasty" (written by Japanese writer Baku Yumemakura), the original novel of the movie version of "Legend of the Demon Cat". It was created by Li Yuan, the screenwriter of "Better Days", and is expected to be broadcast in 2023.

"Bei Zhe Nan Yuan" is Feng Xiaogang's first TV series after "A Place of Chicken Feathers" in 1995. The play tells the story of five women who grow up and fall in love while jointly establishing the "Bei Zhe Nan Yuan" restaurant.
