"The Flash" was shortlisted for the top five worst movies of the year by Variety

Recently, the authoritative Hollywood media "Variety" launched the selection of the "Five Worst Movies of the Year". The two authors Owen Gleiberman and Peter Debruge respectively released their own lists. The former's list includes Wes Anderson's "Asteroids" and the latter's list includes "The Flash".

These two lists surprised some foreign netizens. No matter how disappointing "Asteroid City" and "The Flash" are, they cannot be considered bad movies.

The reason for The Flash's nomination is: "The character is exhausting, especially when you force him to go back in time to change the future. Ezra Miller is charming, but the director has too many boring infinite loops and terrible visual effects. Admittedly, Captain Marvel 2 and Ant-Man 3 are not good either, but The Flash has received more disparagement and criticism."

"The Flash" has a score of 6.7 on IMdb, a Rotten Tomatoes freshness rating of 63%, a popcorn index of 83%, and an MTC score of 55.

"Asteroid City" has an IMDb score of 6.6, a Rotten Tomatoes freshness rating of 75%, a popcorn index of 62%, and an MTC score of 75.
