Domestic financial media: Guangxian will develop a new "Three-Body" movie

According to news from multiple domestic financial media outlets, Light Media recently released its 2019 annual report. In its outlook for 2020, Light Media mentioned that there are 40 films currently in the preparation/production stage, including "Big Fish and Begonia 2" and others, as well as films in the early planning stage, including the new "The Three-Body Problem" movie.

"There are 40 films in the preparation/production stage, including Deep Sea, Big Fish and Begonia 2, and Phoenix, which are already in production, and Nezha 2, White Night Journey, The Three-Body Problem (New) which are in the early planning stage, and Five Boys Jumping into the Water, which is currently recruiting actors."

The film version of "The Three-Body Problem" started filming as early as 2015, but there has been no news of its postponement since then. Last year, the TV series and animation versions of "The Three-Body Problem" were launched one after another.

At last year's Bilibili National Animation Conference, the first PV of the animation "The Three-Body Problem", adapted from Liu Cixin's science fiction novel of the same name, was officially released. The animation "The Three-Body Problem" was created by Three-Body Universe TBU and Yihua Kaitian, and will be exclusively launched on Bilibili.

In addition, Tencent Comics Platform also launched a comic called "The Three-Body Problem" last year, which was also adapted from Liu Cixin's science fiction novel of the same name.
