IGN's Best Animated Movie of the Year: Toy Story 4

Not long ago, IGN announced its own selection of the best movie of the year, "Parasite", and the Audience Choice Award was given to "Joker". Today (December 23), IGN announced its own selection of the best animation of the year, "Toy Story 4", and the Audience Choice Award was the same.

IGN: The Toy Story movies have always been satisfying for both adults and kids, but Toy Story may be the first to feel truly relatable to adults, telling a surprisingly nuanced story about coping with change and moving on after loss. While Toy Story 3 gave these classic characters a perfect ending, Toy Story 4's unexpected epilogue feels just as relevant as the previous movies. It may not have been necessary, but it feels right regardless.
