Forget "Avengers"! "Fantastic Beasts 3" is officially scheduled for 2021

Warner Bros.' "Fantastic Beasts 3" is finally scheduled to be released on November 12, 2021 , and will lead the audience back to JK Rowling's fantasy magical world.

“J.K. Rowling has created an awe-inspiring world that captivates audiences of all ages and takes us on an extraordinary magical journey,” said Ron Sanders, Warner Bros.’ global director of theatrical distribution and home entertainment, in a statement. “Warner Bros. is proud to be the cinematic home of the wizarding world and is excited about the future of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.”

As part of the planned five-part film series, Fantastic Beasts 3 is expected to start filming in the spring of 2020. Warner Bros. Chairman Toby Emmerich explained to the public: " We all believe that this release date will give filmmakers enough time and space to unleash their artistic talents and present the best possible movies to our fans ."

The sequel to the Harry Potter series, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, stars Eddie Redmayne and Johnny Depp, and was written by JK Rowling. The series has grossed $1.4677 billion worldwide.
