"The Shijinsou Murder Case" is adapted from a popular novel, written by Mitsuharu Makita, directed by Hisashi Kimura, starring Ryunosuke Kamiki, Minami Hamabe, and Tomoya Nakamura. The film is adapted from Masahiro Imamura's mystery novel of the same name, telling the story of Yamura Jo and the president Akechi Kyousuke of the Mystery Enthusiasts Association of Kamiburi University who participated in a summer training camp held by the Film Research Club.
