"Avengers 4" surpasses "Avatar". The Russo brothers and Cameron interact on social media

James Cameron is no longer the box office king. After ten years, the legendary classic "Avatar" was replaced by "Avengers 4: Endgame", which became the highest-grossing movie of all time without adjusting for inflation. In its 13th weekend in theaters, "Avengers 4" set a new record of 2.79 billion US dollars, while "Avatar" has a lifetime box office of 2.789 billion.

The Russo brothers, directors of "Avengers", obviously will not keep silent about this breakthrough. After spending two days organizing and considering, they expressed special thanks to Cameron on social media to celebrate their milestone box office achievement of "Avengers 4". In the eyes of the outside world, "Avengers" and Cameron's "Titanic" and "Avatar" are in fierce competition, but for the Russo brothers, they only have love for Cameron.

Cameron also responded on Twitter. He used the official account of "Avatar" to speak in the fictional Na'vi language in the film: " I SEE YOU MARVEL " (I SEE YOU is a classic line in "Avatar" and also the same name as the theme song of the movie.) At the end, he simply expressed his congratulations: "Congratulations to "Avengers 4" for becoming the new box office king."

Interestingly, although Cameron himself has always praised the "Avengers" series, he actually said in an interview last April that he hoped that the popularity of "Avengers" would decline and " Avengers fatigue " would occur.
