Twitch is suspected of testing a paid subscription live broadcast function to provide a higher threshold interactive environment

As a world-class live streaming platform, Twitch is at the forefront of the industry in terms of influence and number of users. Today (28), Reddit user Rob4224 discovered that Twitch seems to be testing its paid subscribers to watch live streaming function, aiming to provide a more core and private interactive environment for streamers and viewers.

As shown above, the leaked footage on Twitter shows that the free trial ends after 3 minutes and 50 seconds, after which you will need to subscribe to continue watching.

Nowadays, many official competitions will choose to broadcast live on Twitch, which can raise the threshold for some competitions and even increase revenue (streamers can classify subscription levels according to the amount of payment, and then broadcast live with different thresholds). Ordinary individual streamers can also launch paid live broadcasts for core fans to earn income, which is a function that can generate direct benefits for both the platform and the streamers.
