Caroline from 2 Broke Girls to Star in Comedy Film Double Edge with Mary

According to Deadline, Beth Behrs, who played "Caroline" in "2 Broke Girls", will star in the new comedy "Twin Blades" and will partner with Ma Li, a famous actress from Happy Twist. The film will be directed by Jin Yimeng, the director of "Surprises Along the Way", and is expected to start shooting in mainland China and Hong Kong in the second quarter of this year.

"Double Blade" tells the story of two powerful women: Behr plays Zoe, an American tech tycoon who moves her company to China, and Ma Li plays Maylin, a bodyguard hired to protect Zoe. When Zoe's life is threatened, this odd pair must put aside their differences and survive together. It is expected to start shooting in the second quarter of this year, with filming locations in mainland China and Hong Kong.

The film is produced by Cristal Films, Lauren Shuler Donner (X-Men, Wolverine) and Jack Leslie (Laughs Unlimited) of Donners' Company, and financed by Cristal and Wanda Media.

The new comedy film "Double Blade" starring Beth Behrs and Mary is expected to start shooting in the second quarter of 2019.
