Hisaishi's new character in the magical animated film "Children of the Sea" is released

The fantasy animated film "Children of the Sea", adapted from the original work by Daisuke Igarashi, will be released in Japan on June 7. Today, the official released the latest version of the poster and some of the main characters. The mysterious and vast ocean adventure is about to begin, so stay tuned!

"Children of the Sea" tells the story of a straightforward but hot-tempered girl named Rika who had to quit her club because of violence. During the long summer vacation with no place to stay, Rika met two mysterious boys, Umi and Sora. Umi and Sora are said to be children raised by dugongs and have lived in the sea since infancy.
