Marvel's "Thunderbolt" loses another member: "Bear's Restaurant" actress withdraws

Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts has lost another actor, with The Bear's Diner actress Ayo Edebiri no longer appearing in a previously undisclosed role. According to DEADLINE, her replacement has been found, and Australian actress Geradine Viswanathan will take over her position.

"Thunderbolts" is a group of Marvel anti-hero characters, including the Winter Soldier played by Sebastian Stan, the new Black Widow played by Florence Pugh, the Red Guardian played by David Harbour, John Walker played by Wyatt Russel, Ava Starr played by Hanna John-Kamen, and Taskmaster played by Olga Kurylenko.

Earlier this month, Steven Yeun, an Asian actor from The Walking Dead, left the show due to scheduling issues and will be replaced by Lewis Pullman. These personnel are mainly due to the multiple delays of the film. The film was originally scheduled to be released in July 2024, but was postponed for a full year due to the Hollywood writers and actors strike in 2023.
