Pixar's new film "Element City" confirmed to be introduced to the release date to be determined

Sina Film reported today (April 20) that Pixar's new film "Elemental City" released a set of Chinese character posters, announcing that it will be introduced to mainland China and will be released in North America on June 16 this year. The film has also just been announced as the closing film of this year's Cannes Film Festival and will be shown in Cannes on May 27.

The film is set in a magical city inhabited by residents of the four elements of water, fire, earth and air. The voices are voiced by Leah Lewis (The Half of It) and Mamoudou Athie (Jurassic World 3), and directed by Peter Sun (The Good Dinosaur, Clouds and Storks). The film tells the story of the mismatched couple Ember, a woman with a fiery personality, and Wade, a man who goes with the flow. Living in a city inhabited by residents of water, fire, air and earth, the two are about to discover what really matters: how much similar they actually are.
