The world's first OVA, directed by Mamoru Oshii, "Dallos" is confirmed to be produced on Blu-ray

Bandai Namco recently announced that OVA, a product between TV animation and animated films, has always been known for being short and exquisite, and is deeply loved by animation fans. The enlightenment work of this special form of work, "Dallos", has been confirmed to be produced in a Blu-ray version, which is scheduled to be released on March 24, 2023. Stay tuned.

· "Dallos" was originally written by Nagayuki Toriumi, and the OVA was directed by Mamoru Oshii. It has a total of 4 episodes and was released from 1983 to 1984. The story is adapted from a science fiction novel published by the famous British writer HG Wells in 1898, mainly describing the story of aliens invading the earth.

This work is a commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Bandai's imaging brand EMOTION. In the future, more high-definition remakes of classic works will be released one after another, so stay tuned.
