The new movie version of the anime "Slam Dunk" will release new information at 7 o'clock tonight

The official website of the new theatrical version of the popular anime "Slam Dunk" "THE FIRST SLAM DUNK" stated that it will announce more detailed information including the film's voice actor lineup, theme song information, latest trailer, etc. at 19:00 Beijing time tonight (November 4th).

The movie "THE FIRST SLAM DUNK" will be released on December 3rd. The original author Takehiko Inoue will be the screenwriter and director. The IMAX version will be released at the same time. The pre-sale ticket website will start selling tickets on November 5th. In this work, the five tigers of Shohoku, including Ryouta Miyagi, Hisashi Mitsui, Kaede Rukawa, Hanamichi Sakuragi, and Takenori Akagi, are confirmed to return.

The original work of the movie, Slam Dunk, is a youth manga based on high school basketball by Japanese manga artist Takehiko Inoue. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from No. 42, 1990 to No. 27, 1996, and the single volume was published in 17 countries and regions. Together with Captain Tsubasa and Tsubasa, it is known as the three pinnacle works of Japanese sports manga.
