"Aquaman 2" and "Shazam 2" both postponed

Warner Bros. is exploring delays for two DC movies - Shazam 2 and Aquaman 2.

Warner announced that "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" has been postponed from its original December 21, 2022 to March 17, 2023. March 17 was originally the release date of "Aquaman 2", and now "Aquaman 2" has been postponed to December 25, 2023.

Warner did not give a reason for the postponement, and "Black Adam" and "The Flash" still maintain their original release dates.

In addition, Warner also announced the release dates of some other films, including "The Evil Dead: Rise" on April 21, 2023, "The Nun 2" on September 8, 2023, and "A Christmas Story Christmas" on November 17, 2022.

Previously, due to the epidemic, "Shazam 2" was postponed many times. The film was originally scheduled to be released on April 1, 2022, and then postponed to November 2022, and then December. The situation of "Aquaman 2" is similar.

Most of the casts of these two films will return, but Shazam 2 will have new villains - Kalypso played by Yulan Liu and Hespera played by Helen Mirren. Aquaman 2 will also have Ben Affleck as Batman.
