Er Dongsheng's new work "The End of the Sea is the Grassland" is scheduled for the Mid-Autumn Festival. It is adapted from a true story.

Today (August 13), the opening film of the Beijing International Film Festival, "The End of the Sea is the Grassland", held its first screening. Chief Producer Yu Dong announced on the spot that the film will be released on September 9, and the release poster was released at the same time.

The film is adapted from the real historical event of "Three Thousand Orphans Entering Inner Mongolia". It is directed by Derek Yee and starred by Chen Baoguo, Ma Su, A Yunga, Wang Qiang, Luo Yichun, with guest appearances by Wang Churan, Huang Yao, Bai Yufan, Cao Jun and Ding Chengxin. It will be released nationwide on September 9, 2022.
