Today (April 2, 2022), it was officially announced that the broadcast time of the second season of the animation "Made in Abyss" "The Golden Country of the Burning Sun" will be confirmed as July 2022.

At the same time, the second key visual was released. In addition to Riko, Reg, and Nanachi, Mimikyu is also depicted.

Made in Abyss is a TV anime based on the manga by Akito Tsuchi. Set in the unexplored cave "Abyss" where many mysteries lie dormant, it depicts the adventures of apprentice explorer girl Riko and robot boy Reg. The first season of the anime aired in 2017, and the film version was released in 2019 and 2020.

Additionally, the PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam) game Made in Abyss: Towards the Dark Bin is scheduled for release in 2022.
