According to Sina Entertainment, the official Weibo account of "The Wandering Earth 2" issued a statement denying that the movie "The Wandering Earth 2" authorized any public channels or natural persons to carry out project financing business.

The official blog stated:

We solemnly declare once again that the movie "The Wandering Earth 2" has never authorized any public channel or individual to carry out project financing business. Please beware of fraud to avoid unnecessary losses.
