Congratulations! Wu Jing joins The Meg 2 with Jason Statham

Today (February 24), the action-adventure film "The Meg" sequel "The Meg: Abyss" officially announced that Wu Jing will star in it, and released photos of Wu Jing and director Ben Wheatley and photos from the set. In the new film, Wu Jing will appear together with Jason Statham.

Jason Statham, the male lead of "The Meg", confirmed his return for "The Meg 2: The Abyss", directed by Ben Wheatley ("Rebecca" and "Skyscraper"), and screenwriters Joe Hobel and Erich Hobel returned. It is expected to be released in 2023. Wu Jing himself also posted on Weibo that he would replenish some energy and prepare to fight sharks in a while.
