The Meg 2 movie starts filming in the UK next week with Jason Statham returning

According to KFTV, The Meg 2 will begin filming in the UK next week and will be produced by Warner Bros. UK Studio Leavesden. The 2018 film The Meg was mainly filmed in Auckland, New Zealand.

In addition to the filming location, the sequel will also have a new director. The Meg 2 will be directed by Ben Wheatley, who directed the 2011 thriller Kill List.
