Tsuburaya wins Ultraman copyright infringement lawsuit and receives 6.5 million yuan in compensation

Tsuburaya Productions, the copyright holder of the "Ultraman" series of works, issued an announcement on the judgment that Zhuhai Qi'ao Company and Guangzhou Blue Arc Company infringed on the rights related to "Ultraman". Tsuburaya Company received a total of 6.5 million yuan in compensation.

The announcement showed that the court ruled that BlueArc and Chio should pay 2.5 million yuan and 4 million yuan in compensation to Tsuburaya Productions respectively. Tsuburaya said that it would continue to take relevant measures against other alleged infringements by Chio and its related parties to safeguard its legitimate rights and interests.
