Spider-Man Universe's new film "Doctor Morbius" has its length revealed

After years of hard work, Sony Pictures has successfully created a film universe centered around Spider-Man. Following this year's "Venom 2" and "Spider-Man: No Homecoming," a new vampire-themed film "Doctor Morbius" will be released in January next year. Recently, foreign media reported that the film is 1 hour and 48 minutes long.

Although it is still a bit short compared to the two-hour length of the highly acclaimed and box office record-breaking "Spider-Man: No Homecoming", "Morbius" at 1 hour and 48 minutes still has more content than "Venom 2".

The film features Marvel's "pseudo-vampire" Morbius, who gains super strength, speed, perception and flight abilities due to mutation. The new Spider-Man villain Vulture (Michael Keaton) returns, with Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Adria Arjona (Pacific Rim 2), Tyrese Gibson (Fast and Furious), and Jared Harris (Chernobyl) starring, and directed by Daniel Espinosa (Alien: Awakening, Child 44).

"Doctor Morbius" will be released on big screens around the world on January 19, 2022.
