Zhao Ting said that "Man of Steel" gave a lot of inspiration to "Eternals"

Recently, Zhao Ting, the director of Marvel's new film "Eternals", said in an interview that the Superman played by Henry Cavill in Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" gave her the biggest inspiration for the male protagonist of "Eternals".

The Marvel Cinematic Universe's first worst masterpiece, "Eternals", has been released worldwide. In the previous trailer, the male protagonist Yggdrasil, played by Richard Madden, was described by children as looking like Superman. So is the creation of this character also related to Superman?

In this regard, director Zhao Ting said: "Of all the modern interpretations of Superman, Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" inspired me the most because he interpreted the myth in a very, very real way. I remember when I saw the trailer, I thought it was "Superman" directed by Terrence Malick. I was deeply impressed by this movie. Of course, Igeris interprets Superman from our perspective."

"Eternals" was released in South Korea, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and other places on November 3, and in North American theaters on November 5.
