"Kamen Rider W" premiere anniversary sequel animation "Fuuto Detective" new information released

Today (September 6) is the 12th anniversary of the premiere of "Kamen Rider W", and its sequel anime "Fuuto Detective" also released a new visual image and production staff list today.

These two new visual images show the main characters of "Fuuto Detective": Shotaro Sae, Philip, Akiko Narumi, Ryu Terui, and the mysterious girl Tokisumi.

The director of this work is Yosuke Kashima, who has participated in the production of anime such as Umamusume Pretty Derby, Senki Zessho Symphogear GX, and Accel World. Assistant director Ayataka Tanemura has participated in the production of the anime "Black Clover". The character design and general animation director is Hidekazu Ebina, who has participated in the production of "Yu-Gi-Oh!: Dark Side of Dimensions" and "Fate/Apocrypha". The music will be produced by Kotaro Nakagawa and Shukai Naruse, who have participated in the music production of many "Kamen Rider" works so far.

When I heard that "Kamen Rider W" was going to be adapted into a manga of "Fuuto Detective", I strongly wanted and prayed to be the director. The "Kamen Rider" series, including "Kamen Rider W", always saves me when my life is in trouble. Because of this, I want to repay my gratitude with my own hands no matter what. Fortunately, I got this opportunity this time. I want to challenge the production with all my strength based on my love and ideas for the work. The sequel to "Kamen Rider W", the anime "Fuuto Detective", will be aired in the summer of 2022.
