Plot summary:

In 1950, Chinese volunteer troops fought with the U.S. military in the Changjin Lake area of ​​Korea. The 9th Corps of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army divided and surrounded more than one U.S. division in the Changjin Lake area, annihilated more than 13,000 enemies and reversed the situation on the battlefield.

This battle recovered a vast area in the east north of the 38th parallel and was a key battle in turning the situation around. The Chinese People's Volunteer Army also paid a tragic price. In extreme weather conditions of more than 30 degrees below zero, many martyrs were frozen to death while holding their guns, reflecting the revolutionary spirit of the volunteer soldiers to obey orders, to face death with equanimity, and to not retreat even if they were frozen into ice sculptures.
