Tom Cruise is well-known in Hollywood for his willingness to risk his life for the sake of making movies. He likes to perform stunts in his movies. However, these stunts are not done on a whim, but require careful preparation and repeated training. According to the introduction of the "Mission Impossible 7" press conference at the CinemaCon event this week, Tom Cruise is still doing the same in the latest film. In addition to releasing clips from Mission: Impossible 7, Paramount also aired a short film introducing the stunts of the film. In preparation for the stunt scene, Cruise performed 500 skydives and 13,000 motorcycle jumps, in addition to basic jump training. In the stunt scene, the actor had to jump off a motorcycle on a cliff in Norway. Cruise said this was the most dangerous stunt scene he had ever participated in. Cruise said in the short film: "This is the most extreme and dangerous thing I have ever tried. We have been preparing for this for several years. I have wanted to do this since I was a child." Christopher McQuarrie said: "The only thing that scares me more now is the plan we made in Mission: Impossible 8." Mission: Impossible 8 will also be his fourth time directing a film in the series. Mission: Impossible 7 will be released on May 27, 2022. |
