Zack Snyder's cut of Justice League will be officially released on HBO Max on March 18 (the release date in China, Japan, and France is yet to be determined). Justice League was officially announced in October 2014, with Snyder and Terrio writing the screenplay. The film was initially announced as Justice League Part One. Filming officially began on April 11, 2016. Snyder withdrew from post-production on the film on May 22, 2017 due to family reasons, leaving Joss Whedon to replace him and write and direct the additional shoots that Snyder had originally planned.
