The new chapter of the famous Warring States time-travel comic "Gunqing War Chronicle" is confirmed to start in January 2021

A new chapter of Maki Kasahara's famous Sengoku time-travel manga "Gunjo Senki" is about to start. The author announced today on November 5 that it will be serialized in "Senior Jump" in January 2021, so stay tuned.

"Gunjo Senki" is a time-travel comic created by Maki Kasahara. It tells the story of Hoshitoku High School in Hoshi County, a famous sports school. The protagonist Aoi Nishino is a member of the Kyudo Club. He is quite interested in Japanese history, but many teachers and classmates regard him as a weirdo. He is not very popular in school and is rated as a student of the third military level. After school one day, everyone stayed in school for club activities as usual, but a red rain fell, fog surrounded the whole school, and warriors in strange costumes attacked the school... The whole school actually traveled back to the Warring States Period!

The original work of the new chapter of "Gunjo Senki" is still by Maki Kasahara, and the painting is by Ajichika, the painter of "The Last Valkyrie". More information about the characters of the new story will be released one after another, so stay tuned.
