Charlize Theron returns to play terrorist in Fast & Furious 9

"Fast & Furious" star Vin Diesel posted a new video on his personal Instagram, showing him on the London set telling fans that Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren will return in "Fast & Furious 9".

The producer and star said in the video: "We have a lot of the original cast here, including Oscar winners like Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren, as well as some new surprises, including Zhao Xina (John Cena), who I believe will make the film shine."

In Fast & Furious 9, Charlize Theron will reprise her previous role as Cipher, a cyber terrorist who forced Vin Diesel to work for her in Fast & Furious 8.

Helen Mirren also appeared in Fast & Furious 8 playing an unnamed character, Magdalene Shaw, the mother of Jason Statham's character Deckard.

"Fast & Furious 9" will be directed by Justin Lin, who has directed four "Fast & Furious" movies (from Fast 3 to Fast 6): "Fast & Furious 3: Tokyo Drift", "Fast & Furious 4", "Fast & Furious 5" and "Fast & Furious 6".
