Guo Jingming's "Jade Dynasty 2" announced that Fan Bingbing and Wu Yifan will return

"Jade Dynasty 2: The Cold Blooded Banquet" directed by Guo Jingming has been scheduled to be released in the summer of 2018. The leading actors of the previous film, including Fan Bingbing, Wu Yifan, Chen Xuedong and others, have returned.

As the only full motion capture film in China, "Legend of Zu" was released during the National Day holiday in 2016 and grossed 383 million yuan. Guo Jingming once expressed the difficulty of shooting such a film at a press conference, jokingly saying that actors often ask themselves "Why should cartoons be performed by real people?"

"Because the actors in this play rely entirely on their imagination and have to react to things that don't exist, and as a director, I can't actually imagine what the final effect will be." Amber Kuo also revealed that "I completely collapsed in the first shot" because this way of acting was too difficult, and she was so angry that she shouted "Guo Jingming (what are you shooting)" on the spot.

However, Fan Bingbing also spoke on behalf of all the actors: they had never had a filming experience like "Jade Dynasty" before, so when filming "Jade Dynasty 2", everyone was "very positive" and "eager to try". She also said with a smile that she didn't want to be a female warrior anymore, as Guo Jingming might "write her badly" and "make her dark".

At the end of December 2017, Guo Jingming revealed on Weibo that he and Amber Kuo were doing dubbing work, saying "this is our sixth movie." Many people speculated that it was "Jade Dynasty 2."
