The fourth season of "Osomatsu" animation trailer released and will be officially launched in July 2025

The comedy manga "Osomatsu-kun" created by Fujio Akatsuka was first serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" in 1962 and ended in 1969. Its single-volume manga has sold more than 10 million copies and was animated three times in 1966, 1988 and 2015.

As an animation project to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Fujio Akatsuka's birth, the 2015 version of "Osomatsu-chan" animation launched its second and third seasons in October 2017 and October 2020 respectively, as well as several theatrical animations. Recently, the official announced a new promotional trailer for the fourth season of the animation, and revealed that it will officially start broadcasting in July 2025.

It is understood that the fourth season of "Osomatsu" will be produced by PIERROT FILMS, with Yoshinori Odaka as the director, Hide Matsubara as the script coordinator, and Eiji Yasuhiko as the character designer. At the same time, the luxurious voice actor lineup of Sakurai Takahiro, Nakamura Yuichi, Kamiya Hiroshi, Fukuyama Jun, Ono Daisuke and Irino Miyu will continue.

The original story of "Osomatsu" is a funny comedy centered on the daily life of the six children of the Matsuno family. It revolves around the six children themselves, their parents who are worried about them, the beautiful girl Doudouzi who is admired by everyone, the smart homeless boy Doudingtai, and many other characters. However, with the addition of characters such as Xiangwei, Dakucha, Qifang, and Dayou, the protagonist status of the six children gradually occupied, and the background of the story gradually changed from daily life to various whimsical background settings, and finally evolved into an absurd comedy with Xiangwei and Doudingtai as the protagonists.
