Recently, Empire magazine released new stills of the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse, and said that the new film will have six different styles. In an interview with a magazine, the film's producer Phil Lord said that "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" in 2023 and "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" in 2024 will make the audience exclaim. “In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, there was only one basic animation style for the main stage. But in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, there will be six animation styles. We use the tools at hand, plus what we learned in Counter-Strike, and then further expand them to match the ambition of Into the Spider-Verse, so that everyone will exclaim when they enter different animated worlds. At the same time, make sure that different styles fully demonstrate different environments and reflect the story of the film, and the pictures are driven by emotions.” Phil Lord also said that there will be more Spider-Mans and more different worlds in "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse", such as Earth-50101 (Indian comic style) and Spider-Man 2099's Nueva York (Syd Mead's future style) that have appeared in the trailer, as well as Gwen Spider-Man's Earth-65 which is a watercolor style, etc. Spider-Man: Across the Universe is co-directed by Joim dos Santos, Cape Powers, and Justin Thompson, with Shameik Moore, Oscar Isaac, Hailee Steinfeld and others dubbing. The film tells the story of Miles Morales's continuous growth in the fight against powerful evil forces and his eventual becoming a member of the Spider-Man group. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is set to be released on June 2, 2023, and Spider-Man: Beyond is set to be released on March 29, 2024. |
