According to domestic media reports today (November 1), Mr. Lu Shuming, a famous Xi'an actor who played Guan Gong in the old version of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", passed away this morning at the age of 66.

Lu Shuming was well-known for his role as Guan Yu (Guan Gong) in the 1994 costume drama "Romance of the Three Kingdoms". On February 4, 1995, he starred in the fantasy costume comedy "A Chinese Odyssey Part Two: Cinderella" as the domineering Bull Demon King.

It was reported that Mr. Lu Shuming died of a sudden illness. Many netizens said that it was too sudden. Rest in peace, Master Guan!

Lu Shuming, born in Qingdao, Shandong, is a Chinese actor and photographer. He started his acting career in 1980 after being admitted to the Shaanxi Provincial Drama Troupe. In 1994, he became famous for playing Guan Yu in the TV series Romance of the Three Kingdoms. He then starred in many film and television works such as A Chinese Odyssey Part One and Emperor Wu of Han. On January 4, 2019, he released the single "Little Malan Flower".
