Netflix's Electric Kingdom movie to start filming this fall, directed by the Russo brothers

Netflix recently announced that the highly acclaimed film version of "Electric Kingdom" will start shooting this fall, directed by the Avengers Russo brothers, so stay tuned.

"The Electric State" is based on the popular comic of the same name, directed by the Russo brothers [Avengers: End Game], written by screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and funded by Universal Pictures.

Set in a completely new 1997, after a technological collapse has left humanity isolated in their own VR headsets, battling a strange breed of giant combat drones, a teenage runaway named Michelle (Milly) travels the West Coast of America with her yellow toy robot.
