"Thor 4" director Taika Waititi will star in the HBO Max comedy series "Our Flag Means Death", playing the most feared pirate in history, Blackbeard, and will direct the first episode and executive produce. Created by David Jenkins (The Fourth Kind), and starring Waititi's old partner Rhys Darby (Vampire Life, Hunt for the Wilderpeople), the series is based on the real adventures of Steed Bonnet, a pampered aristocrat who gave up his privileged life and became a pirate. |
