Marvel releases Spider-Man's new battle suit in comics, new color scheme is very cool

Like everyone else in the world, Spider-Man has had a pretty rough 2020. Peter Parker will be looking for a fresh start in 2021, and that includes a brand new suit.

This new suit designed by Dustin Weaver will debut in The Amazing Spider-Man #62 on March 10, 2021. The new look is quite different from Spider-Man's regular red and blue color scheme. It uses white, blue, gold and orange colors. The eyes are also very different from the traditional suit, and the orange and white pupils are very impactful.

Marvel hasn't revealed much about the origins of this new suit yet, only saying that this is the suit Peter Parker wore when he fought the Kingpin after "Sins Rising". As with past suit changes, this suit will also provide Spider-Man with some weapon technology upgrades.

"This design is a collaborative effort between Nick Spencer, editor Nick Lowe, and me. They curbed the weirder, more technical features I brought to the table and helped me create something that I think is simple yet futuristic and classic," Weaver said in an interview. "I can't wait to see Patrick Gleason bring it to life!"
