New stills of the movie version of "Wife of a Spy" starring Aoi Yu released, to be released on October 16

The new movie version of the hit TV series "Wife of a Spy" starring Yu Aoi has recently released a large number of new stills. The movie is scheduled to be released on October 16 and will be a condensed and summarized version of the TV series. Stay tuned.

The story of "Wife of a Spy" is set in Kobe, Japan in 1940. Yusaku Fukuhara (played by Issey Takahashi), who runs a trading company, intends to make public the horrific events he witnessed in Manchuria, while his wife Satoko (played by Yu Aoi) is determined to stop her husband's actions for the sake of their happiness.

Kurosawa Kiyoshi

The film version of "Wife of a Spy" will be written and directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa, and Ryusuke Hamaguchi and Utari Nohara will also participate in the script writing, so stay tuned.
