DC superhero drama "Stargirl" new trailer high school girl saves the world

Today (January 15), CW released a new trailer for DC's new drama "Stargirl". The series is produced by former DC Chief Creative Officer Jeff Jones and will be launched in spring 2020.

Stargirl's first trailer:

Stargirl is an American superhero under DC Comics. Her real name is Courtney Whitmore. In the original comic setting, she has a bad relationship with her stepfather. After discovering the equipment of the late superhero Skyman and the first generation Star Spangled Kid Sylvester Pemberton collected by her stepfather, she became Stargirl to anger her stepfather. Later, she realized the love of her stepfather, inherited Star Spangled Kid's equipment, and became the second generation Star Spangled Kid.

The series "Stargirl" is adapted from the comic of the same name. The first season has 13 episodes. It will tell the story of a high school girl Courtney Whitmore joining the Justice Society of America (JSA) to fight against various villains and save the world.
