Bond 25 screenwriter responds to rumors of a black female Bond

Previously, there were rumors that Lashana Lynch, the black actress in "Captain Marvel", would star in "Bond 25" and take over the baton from Daniel Craig to become the next "007". Recently, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the screenwriter of "Bond 25", said, "This matter always has the potential to produce a new iconic character", but did not specify whether the rumor is true.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge joined the "Bond 25" crew in the later stages of filming. The female screenwriter is the fifth screenwriter of "Bond 25". When asked in an interview about Daniel Craig 's last time playing "007", she said that this is a movie directed by Cary Fukunaga, and I can't say too much, it feels like stealing the credit.

Previously, an insider revealed to the Sunday Mail that the opening of Bond 25 will shock fans: "M said: '007, please come in', and the one who opened the door and walked in was a black woman, Lashana Lynch."

Bond 25 tells the story of Bond, who has retired and is enjoying a quiet life in Jamaica. His peaceful days seem short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA shows up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be more dangerous than expected, leading Bond to take on a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Ralph Fiennes, Naomi Harris, Rami Malek, Ben Whishaw, Léa Seydoux, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright, Ana de Armas and others have joined Bond 25. The film has yet to be officially named and is scheduled to be released in North America on April 8 next year.
