Nintendo to hold Super Mario movie direct on March 9

Last night, Nintendo's official social media announced that it would hold a special direct meeting for "Super Mario Bros. Movie" at 6:00 a.m. Beijing time on March 10. It was also confirmed that the final trailer of the film would be released at this direct meeting.

The CG animated film "Super Mario Bros." is a film adapted from Nintendo's most famous game Mario, and is jointly produced by Nintendo and the animation company Illumination. Nintendo's legendary game producers Shigeru Miyamoto and Chris Meledandri will serve as co-producers. Nintendo has previously confirmed that in the Mario movie, Chris Pratt plays Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy plays Princess Peach, Charlie Day plays Luigi, Jack Black plays Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key plays Toad, and Seth Rogen plays Donkey Kong.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is set to hit theaters on April 7.
