"Jurassic World 3" suspends filming and release date may be affected

Due to the impact of the new coronavirus epidemic, Universal Pictures announced today (March 14) that filming of several of its live-action films currently in production has been suspended, including "Jurassic World: Dominion", which is scheduled to be released in North America on June 21, 2021.

It was previously revealed that Jurassic World 3 had started filming in London in February, directed by Colin Trevorrow, the director of the first film in the series, with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard continuing to star, and Jurassic Park old cast members Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum returning. It is not clear whether the suspension of filming will affect its release date.

In addition to Jurassic World 3, Universal has also stopped filming sports drama Flint Strong and an untitled comedy starring Billy Eichner. In addition to Universal's works, many American dramas and variety shows have announced the suspension of filming, including Stranger Things, Supernatural, The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, Fargo, The Flash, Supergirl, etc., and this list is still growing.
