The new "Batman" confirmed that the director finally chose this handsome British guy

Previously, we have reported that after Ben Affleck announced that he would no longer play Batman, Warner Bros. was actively looking for a new Batman successor. Later, Warner Bros. announced two new Batman candidates, namely Robert Pattinson, the male lead of Twilight, and Nicholas Hoult, the "Blue Beast" of X-Men. Now, Robert Pattinson has been confirmed to be the next Batman.

According to Deadline, "Batman" independent film director Matt Reeves preferred Robert Pattinson when casting. Robert Pattinson and Warner have not yet signed a contract, but he has been confirmed to be the next "Batman", and the "Batman" played by Robert Pattinson will be filmed into three parts.

Director Matt Reeves said that the series of films will tell the story of the formation of "Batman", so a young actor in his 30s is needed, which is the same as Ben Affleck's previous idea. The "Batman" independent film is expected to start shooting in 2020.
