HBO's The Last of Us will add an original character: a black deaf boy

HBO's "The Last of Us" series has attracted much attention. It contains the content of "The Last of Us 1" and may also include the content of "The Last of Us 2". According to the latest news, the series will add an original character - a black deaf-mute boy.

Craig Mazin, screenwriter of "The Last of Us", recently posted on Twitter that he is publicly recruiting a black boy actor between the ages of 8 and 14, who must be deaf and mute, and know sign language or Black sign language.

Because the black deaf-mute boy mentioned above does not appear in the game "The Last of Us", it is speculated that he is an original character of the TV series "The Last of Us", and the story plot is very likely to be adapted to a certain extent.

The Last of Us is adapted from the game of the same name, starring Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Joel's brother Tommy, Mel Dandridge as Marlene, Nico Parker as Joel's daughter Sarah, Nick Offerman as Bill, and Anna Torv as Tess.

The Last of Us is expected to have a total of 10 episodes, with Chernobyl's Craig Mazin and Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann as writers and executive producers. HBO has confirmed that the series will not be released this year.
